This is a special page to bring to you my experiences in Togo, Africa where I went with Samaritan’s Purse on a volunteer medical mission acting as a General Surgeon at the Karolyn Kampton Memorial Christian Hospital.
I realize this has nothing to do with Italy but it was heart-warming, spiritual and much about family, just like the Italian culture.
Here is a nice 3 minute video taken the day I left Togo to return home. It is a song which the Operating Room staff sang for me to express their appreciation for my efforts with them. You may not know the words but the tune will sound familiar.
